Rotary Drum
The Labmaq Rotary Drum is equipment designed to optimize the drying, mixing, and homogenization processes of solid materials, ensuring uniformity, efficiency, and operational safety. Ideal for granules and solids with variable density, the equipment is suitable for both research laboratories and pilot plants or smaller-scale industrial lines.
Operating principle:
The material is introduced into the drum, which rotates continuously, promoting transport, agitation, and homogeneous mixing. Controlled rotation allows adjustment of the product's residence time according to its physical characteristics and the process objective. In addition, the equipment can be easily integrated with indirect heating and ventilation systems, providing greater thermal and environmental control during operation.
Technical features and differentiators:
-
Robust structure made of AISI 304 or 316L stainless steel, corrosion-resistant and easy to clean.
-
Adjustable rotation, allowing for continuous or batch processing.
-
Modular design with easy access for inspection, cleaning, and preventive maintenance.
-
Possibility of integration with filtration and heating systems, making it flexible for multiple applications.
- Stable and secure base, designed for constant operation without excessive vibration.
Advantages and applications:
-
Improves product uniformity.
-
Ideal for homogenizing complex or sensitive mixtures.
-
Can be used in the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, and biotechnology industries.
-
Reduces material loss and waste, preserving the product’s physicochemical properties.
